In 1993, Elaine McLaughlin opened her practice at 40 Carlisle Road. More than three decades later, Carlisle Road is still our home.
Our address has changed along the way. Our story has stayed on the same street — from our first rented premises to the clinic at 63–65 Carlisle Road.

From number 40 to 63–65
Elaine’s practice began in rented premises and grew through a series of moves on Carlisle Road. Here are the milestones that brought us to our home today.
- 1993
A beginning at number 40
Elaine McLaughlin opened her practice at 40 Carlisle Road. These rented premises were the clinic’s first home, where she remained for 12 years.
- 1994
Recognition in Northern Ireland
Just a year after opening, Elaine won the Northern Ireland Livewire award — an early milestone in the practice’s story.
- Around 2005
A move to number 34
The practice moved to rented premises at 34 Carlisle Road, continuing its journey on the same street.
- April 2011
A home of our own
Elaine purchased and renovated 63–65 Carlisle Road, creating the clinic that is our home today.
